Waiting For: Keys to the Repository

This post is a little late but I did want to mention some books that came out this past week. Keys to the Repository by Melissa de la Cruz was released June 29th. I have read all the other Blue Bloods novels and I really want to add this book to that collection. This is not the next book in the Blue Bloods series. This book gives us a look into the world of the Blue Bloods. The next book in the series is Misguided Angel and it will be released in October. What's Your St@tus came out July 1st. It is by Katie Finn and it is A Top 8 Novel. I will be reviewing this book soon and hosting a little giveaway! And two great books came out on paperback this week! Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and Prophecy of the Sisters by Michelle Zink.

Keys to the Repository by Melissa de la Cruz June 29th 2010 by Hyperion Book
Lavish parties. Passionate meetings in the night. Bone-chilling murders. Midterms. The day-to-day life of Schuyler Van Alen and her Blue Bloods friends (and enemies) is never boring. But there's oh-so-much more to know about these beautiful and powerful teens. Below the streets of Manhattan, within the walls of the Repository, exists a wealth of revealing information about the vampire elite that dates back before the Mayflower. In a series of short stories, journal entries, and never-before-seen letters, New York Times bestselling author Melissa de la Cruz gives her hungry fans the keys to the Repository and an even more in-depth look into the secret world of the Blue Bloods. Won't you come inside?

Out On Paperback

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins October 1st 2008 by Scholastic Press On paperback July 1st
Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with every one out to make sure you don't live to see the morning?

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games. But Katniss has been close to dead before—and survival, for her, is second nature. Without really meaning to, she becomes a contender. But if she is to win, she will have to start making choices that will weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

Only then will she understand the mysterious circumstances of her parents' deaths, the true meaning of the strange mark branded on her wrist, and the lengths to which her sister will go to defeat her. Debut novelist Michelle Zink takes readers on an unforgettable journey where one sister's fateful decision could have an impact of Biblical proportions.
